The Domain Investing Substack

Your weekly dose of Domain Investing goodness 🏄‍♂️

Hello, happy Thursday, and welcome to the Domain Investing Substack 🕺 For those who are new here, the photos I post above are usually from San Francisco along my regular biking route 🚴. This building is on Folsom Street a few blocks from the Bay, and no, it wasn’t damaged in an earthquake, that’s what it looks like, and I dig it.

I’m excited to say that my first issue of the Domain Investing Substack this year ended up getting the most reads and clicks ever, so, I hear ya’ - keep it coming, and I will 🥳

As many of you know, or at least you’ll know now, NamesCon is next week and I am really looking forward to it. I’m speaking on two panels and have a handful of domains in the auction so it should be one heck of a week.

This week was an amazing week, and while I’m sorry if what I say next offends you, heck it’s my newsletter so I’m going to be honest - this week we got rid of the worst President in American history. The last four years were the first time in my life where I’ve been truly ashamed and embarrassed of America and this week I feel like I can finally be proud of my country again. I wrote this tweet yesterday which felt really good:

And let me just say again, phew - that poem from Amanda Gorman was absolutely spectacular. All that being said, I know you all came here to hear what non .COM sales caught my eye last week and what you might have missed from my blog, so let’s get to it.
